Tokyo

Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is a city that must be lived. Every district has its own identity but it’s in the suburbs that the city finds its peace, with its park, rivers and small temples spread all around the residential area. If you take a superficial look at Tokyo you’ll see only concrete and skyscrapers, but if you pay more attention you’ll be able to grasp its essence in the timid smile of elderly people taking care of their gardens, in the look of children seeing a foreigner for the first time or in the intimate family restaurants.

Tokyo is a chaotic city and at times, like taking a train on the Yamanote line, you are going to feel very small, but it is also the city you’ll hear only your footsteps when after a long day you’ll be back home.

Tokyo Bay, Shinjuku’s skyscrapers, the noise of Pachinko, Omotesando’s parkway, Ueno during the Hanami, Sumida’s fireworks, Akihabara’s cosplay, the smell during matsuri are just a part of what represent this unique e deeply alive city.
